Tips on how to donate your hair
These are some general tips on hair donation. You have to check the charity of your choice’s specific guidelines before you send the hair.
- Grow your hair to the required length
- Wash and dry hair before sending the donation
- Cut it in a pony tail and place on a ziplock bag and then place in an envelop
- Most hair charities prefer non colored hair, but some accept treated hair
- Some charities accept wigs in addition to human hair
